WinCatalog allows you to export a part or a whole
collection into another .wcat file. For example, it helps
you to share only the certain part of your collection
instead of sharing the whole.
Export wizard
Select the File | Export/Import | Export menu
item to bring up the export wizard and click Next to follow
the first step.
Step 1: Export Items
Mark items, keywords and users you want to be exported. If
Export linked keywords option is on, the keywords associated
with exported items will be exported too. Click Next to
follow the last step.
Step 2: Select file
Type a new filename and click Finish. New collection
will be created and if the open exported file in the new
window option is enabled, newly exported file will be opened
with WinCatalog 2009.
