Hello, we’re glad to announce that a new version of our disk catalog software WinCatalog 2017 (version 17) was released.
Advantages of the new version:
As you can see, the new version does not include any visible changes (so, unfortunately, we can’t just tell you “please click here to see all the new features”), but it contains a lot of internal improvements for the scanning and updating processes.
The scanning module was rewritten from a scratch using a new platform and now it works much faster and reliable (but keeps all the same functionality). 2017 release is a huge step forward for us opening new capabilities for the future development and for the new features.
The upgrade to the latest version is free for everyone who has purchased a license for WinCatalog 2016 or a Lifetime Major Upgrades option in addition to a license for WinCatalog. In that case, a new registration key is not required.
If you purchased any version of WinCatalog prior to WinCatalog 2016, you can buy WinCatalog 2017 at a special upgrade price (50% OFF) and get a new registration key in order to upgrade to WinCatalog 2017.
You can check your upgrade status here by entering your existing registration key or email address that was used to purchase WinCatalog.
To download WinCatalog 2017 please click here. You do not need to uninstall a previous version of WinCatalog. Just install the latest version over the existing one.
