How to convert your catalogue of disks and files from Advanced Disk Catalog to WinCatalog 2024 disk and file catalog software?

Part I: Export from Advanced Disk Catalog

Open your Advanced Disk Catalog catalogue with Advanced Disk Catalog.
Export the entire catalogue into XML file. The process of export to XML file is shown on the following screenshots:

Part II: Converting into WinCatalog 2024 format

Download a free application "Advanced Disk Catalog to WinCatalog Converter". The converter requires .NET Framework 4.8.
Download Converter
Run the downloaded Converter and follow the wizard. You may convert several XML files into one WinCatalog file.
That's it. After the process ends, WinCatalog will be able to open the collection file. It will show you the hierarchical structure and will provide an ability to search for files and folders.
After converting all the info, you may uninstall the converter.
